The experienced instructors at Beyond the Surface will accompany you throughout the entire experience, guiding you as you move through the water and feel the sensation of weightlessness. They will carefully ensure your diving safety and, based on the season, select the most suitable dive sites around the Hengchun Peninsula for your adventure.
Who Is Suitable for Discover Scuba Diving?
Discover Scuba Diving is a specially designed activity for those who have never experienced the ocean before.
If you're unsure whether diving is right for you, or if you're curious about it but don’t yet have time to commit to a certification course, we highly recommend starting with a Discover Scuba Diving session.
Through just a few hours of hands-on experience, you can explore the fun and excitement that diving has to offer!

Before participating in the diving activity, you will need to fill out a health declaration form. As long as you meet the health conditions listed on the form, you are welcome to join.
If you answer "yes" to any items on the form, you can consult your doctor. With their approval and a signed consent form, you can still participate in the activity!

Most trial diving experiences typically last around 2 hours.
With Peninsula Diver’s trial diving, the total activity time is extended to 3 hours!

Sure, you can choose to wear contact lenses underwater or inform us of your myopia prescription in advance. We can provide a prescription mask for your diving activities.
We provide all the diving equipment needed for the trial diving experience, and the rental fees are included in the activity cost. You only need to bring a towel and swimwear to join the experience!
Yes, you can. During the trial dive, you will use scuba gear that allows you to breathe underwater, so even if you can't swim, you can still breathe comfortably. We will provide fins to help you move easily in the water, and if you are not good at kicking, the instructor can guide you throughout the entire experience!
