| Ocean Photoshoot | Open to holders of an SSI Ocean Mermaid certification. Participants must bring a personal safety assistant. The safety assistant must hold a certification equivalent to SSI Freediver (Level 1). Must be familiar with rescue procedures. A pre-shoot briefing will be conducted in the classroom to confirm the assistant’s qualifications before proceeding with the ocean photoshoot. |

As long as you meet the conditions listed in the form and are physically and mentally healthy,
you can join the activity.

As a model-turned-photographer with extensive experience in mermaid posing instruction, the photographer will guide your movements before the shoot. We'll review the shots together with you and provide feedback, so don't worry!
Our beach photoshoots focus on the natural sandy beach landscapes of Hengchun. We don't currently offer specific location requests. Locations may vary due to strong waves or tides, making each photoshoot unique!
Mermaids are welcome to bring their own favorite mermaid-themed accessories and costumes to the location to discuss with the photographer!
The fee covers only the photoshoot. Before the shoot, the photographer will confirm your makeup style and completeness, and will make minor adjustments on the spot if needed. Please come with light makeup. If you don't know how to do makeup, that's okay! Photos will be retouched in post-production to ensure you have a fresh and exquisite mermaid look!
The delivery time is within 3 months. As the photographer also teaches regularly, we appreciate your patience. The number of professionally edited photos will not be less than 30.
Open water shooting conditions are challenging. Participants must have excellent swimming skills and self-rescue abilities, as well as an SSI Ocean Mermaid certification. Please refer to the Ocean Photoshoot package for more details.
Pool regulations are strict; makeup is not allowed in the water! All makeup in the photos will be added by the photographer during post-production retouching. You can come to the shoot without makeup.
The delivery time is within 3 months. As the photographer also teaches regularly, we appreciate your patience. The number of professionally edited photos will not be less than 10.
You might find that shooting in the ocean is challenging, but... unless you try, you'll never know if you can capture amazing shots! In addition to a professional safety diver you bring yourself, the photographer is also a mermaid instructor, so your safety will be our top priority. Capturing great photos comes second!
The ocean is a natural environment, and we need to check wind and tides daily to decide on the shooting location. You can discuss your desired shooting scene with the photographer on the day of the shoot, but all decisions will be based on the sea conditions that day.
All makeup in the photos will be added by the photographer during post-production retouching. You can come to the shoot without makeup and let us help you return to the Dragon Palace in a beautiful way!
