Rope-assisted descent
is both a warm-up technique and a competitive discipline.

When using the rope,
you consume less energy
and maintain controlled speed,
allowing you to focus on relaxation and equalizing your ears.

The primary physiological factor limiting your depth is equalization.
First, let your ears adapt to the depth,
then allow your body and technique to follow.

Focusing on one task at a time
is the key to making progress in freediving.
