This course is an advanced program for freedivers,
requiring an SSI Freediver certification
(or an equivalent certification from another system) to enroll.

The course will be fully guided by Peninsula Divers' experienced freediving instructors.
It includes training for deep dives and advanced techniques,
as well as essential safety knowledge and practical exercises for open water.

This course ensures that participants can challenge their limits
while remaining in a safe and comfortable environment.

At Peninsula Divers, our small-class teaching approach ensures that every student can learn comfortably without worrying about falling behind.

Even a single participant can register and join.

At Peninsula, you don’t need to worry about being alone.
Outside of class hours,
our instructors are happy to accompany you on a culinary tour of Hengchun,
explore hidden local attractions during course breaks,
and immerse yourself in the local lifestyle of Peninsula Divers.

Who is suitable for this course

If you have already mastered basic freediving
and have a strong desire for depth exploration, this course is for you.

If you hold an SSI Freediving certification and continue to practice
(or an equivalent certification from another system),
are familiar with basic equipment, kicking techniques, and other skills,
and are eager to try advanced freediving techniques,
or even aspire to become a freediving instructor,
we highly recommend earning this certification.

Prerequisites for joining the course

Minimum age requirement12 years old (Parental or guardian signature required if under 18)
Maximum age limitNone
Diving experienceMust hold an SSI Freediver certification or an equivalent certification from another system
Completed at least 6 recorded freediving sessions
Water skills assessmentAbility to swim 100 meters without any swimming or buoyancy assistance equipment

Before participating in diving activities, a health declaration form must be completed.
As long as you meet the conditions listed in the form and are physically and mentally healthy,
you can join the activity.
If any items on the form are marked "yes," consult your physician,
and with their approval, you can participate in the activity!

Dynamic apnea BO (blackout) rescue: Performed at a depth of 2 to 4 meters
Constant weight descent: Depth of 20 to 30 meters using advanced Frenzel equalization and free fall techniques
Arm-pull ascent: Depth of 15 meters
Deep-water BO rescue: Rescue from a depth of 15 meters

Before descending, a connecting rope is attached, keeping you a certain distance from the rope.
